Witnessing our own growth....

Love Letter: Oct-7-2025

How will you witness yourself?

Today, I’m writing to you from the unceded* traditional land of the Lək̓ʷəŋən:Lekwungen and Saanich:W̱SÁNEĆ people, part of the larger Coast Salish language group of Indigenous people here on the North West Coast of North America.

*unceded means the land has never been managed or governed by a treaty. It’s essentially stolen.

It’s been a whirlwind of a month and I can’t believe it’s October already! I had a wonderful 8 days away in Albuquerque, New Mexico (the traditional land of the Tiwa-speaking people, and their descendants, the Isleta and Sandia) for a friend’s wedding from September 10-17 and honestly, I’ve felt like I’ve been drinking from a firehose the rest of the month.

On Saturday, Sept. 27 I was happy to be hosting Channeled Message Readings at the Sidney Psychic and Spiritual Arts Fair – lovely hosts, a wonderful crowd, and always interesting readings. (Welcome to my new readers/audience from that fair!).

What was interesting to me about the recent readings on Saturday is that the majority were focused on mediumship – loved ones who had crossed over – as well as people wanting to hear from their own guides and support ‘team’.

In past readings, there have been more active galactic guides and connections, along with the odd mediumship reading, too.

I also had a few repeat customers, which is ALWAYS lovely!

I think that as the world becomes noisier with external events that make ‘the news’ (and don’t get me wrong, there are definitely atrocities happening every day, in every corner of the world), many folks are looking for ways to find meaning, for connections to what’s ‘on the other side’, and to loved ones who have crossed over.

We are being called to go inward, in new, powerful, and confronting ways. Not to turn away from the external activities unfolding on earth, but to really, truly, look inside ourselves, to witness our own journeys, and to come to terms with the things that have unfolded throughout our lives (and beyond).

And these same things that unfold in our external world are also unfolding in some form within us. Macro reflects micro.

Whether you choose an organized religious format to go inward, or you choose a format more based in generalized spirituality, ancestrally significant, or even atheism, people who are willing to look at themselves, to open up their Pandora’s Box of what makes them human, will ultimately see more of what we have in common.

Is it uncomfortable to do that?

Yes.

We must also look externally.

For those of us who have hope and a vested belief in the ultimate good and progress/growth of the human collective, we must witness this unfolding, this crumbling, and this expansion with compassion both for ourselves, and for those around us.

In witnessing our humanity as a collective and opening up a conversation with those who may not agree with us on the surface, we find commonalities that lead us closer together, rather than further apart.

Here’s the link that I’ve been seeing between my recent readings and what we are all living out here on earth at this time.

We are ultimately seeking certainty.

  • Are our loved ones who have crossed over ok?
  • What do the world events mean for our future?
  • Will I get the job?
  • Will I heal from this illness?
  • What will happen to my loved ones when I’m gone?

ALL these questions lead us to the biggest discomfort of all...

We aren't meant to know.

The uncertainty is what allows us to take risks, to be creative, to be in the fullest expression of being human.

  • Would be creative if the outcome was certain?
  • Would we risk it all if we knew it would work?
  • And, if we failed, what would we do next?

If we could know our loved ones are ok on the other side, would we want to ask about them anyway?

I can sit here and write to you, that according to some, we have already chosen our new timeline, and that things unfolding now are just blips in the bigger picture of our growth and progress. (I have actually channeled this information at various times).

AND, I can sit here and write that things are STILL uncertain, but that with enough hope, creativity, perseverance, willingness to look inside, to witness each-other, that our discomfort with that uncertainty declines and we allow our fullest and most amazing potential to bloom.

It’s like the saying goes,

What would you do, if you knew you could not fail?”

------------------------------------------------------

Live your life. Take the risk. Love fiercely. Create.

(And yes, of COURSE I can say this while writing this from my home, safe in Canada, from a relatively stable place in the world. I would argue that it is the responsibility of those of us who enjoy safety, security, and space to grow, love, and expand to take those risks and build hope and belief for others around us who do not have that safety net).

So, whenever and however you read this, I want to inspire in you even greater hope. If you are reading this, you are in a place of privilege to have and grow hope for others beyond your realm.

What will YOU do with that privilege and power?

Do you have an unsung dream in your heart and soul?

If you want to explore your own journey with some 1:1 support, I have capacity for two more people to work with me for 3 or 6 months in a transformational process that builds confidence, hope, expansion, joy, and delight.

My clients have transformed their lives through risk-taking in relationships, exploring the power of their voices, and starting to step into their own intuitive gifts more fully. If this sounds like something you’re curious about, book a curiosity call with me right here.

Here's what one client has said about our work together:

I'm feeling amazing! I feel I have purpose, again!!! It's been a long time since I felt this way! I have an actual goal to work towards!!!! A dream I've had for almost 50 years!! A dream that filled my heart every time I thought about it and still brings tears to my eyes!!

I am sooo grateful that I met you!! I'm so grateful for the Universe for guiding you into my life - I've been so excited these past months thinking about what else I can do at this point in my life!! And tada!” – Sue C.

What are you waiting for?

I do my work in Victoria, BC, the traditional and unceded lands of the The Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) and W̱sáneć (Saanich:W̱SÁNEĆ) peoples, part of the larger language group of Coast Salish People.

I acknowledge the stewardship and care of the land that they have provided over thousands of years and I’m grateful to be able to live, work and play here.
